Scotty in the kitchen

Hey dudes. Today I am going to show you how to make a snack that is so tasty and filling and simple. Your guaranteed to make it again. All you need it three ingredients.....
  • Cheese
  • Pickles
  • Butter

Start by heating up your cast iron on the lowest heat. Put a chunk of butter in to melt and once its melted, add the cheese.
When the edges get crispy, put your pickles on top.
Make sure you keep watch on the cheese. Once it gets to your desired crunchiness, flip it.  Once both sides are crunchy, take it off the heat.

Time to plate! I paired mine with watermelon fries and a nice cold glass of pickle juice straight from the jar.
It was so good.

Meet Scotty:
Hi! I'm Scotty! I am the maker of all the food you see. I love pickles, parakeets, clip on ties, chickens, video games and eating candy. I hope you enjoyed reading this and stay tuned for the next one!

Today we get pigs

After lunch today, we're driving a few hours to pick up the pigs. We're getting two Berkshire crosses today and one Kune-Kune on Sunday from a different place.  Dad has built the training pen behind the stove, you can see on the right there's the water and the far left is their house.  And, of course, Scotty named the two pigs,  Bop and Bonk 😂 Can anyone guess what those names are from?

Around the farm

Not to much has happened this month, we have mainly just been getting ready for the winter ahead.  There was a pig running around our backyard a few days ago. We don't know how it got there or who's it was, it was just running around. We tried to get it into the pig pens, but it ran away. It was so cute and tiny! The ducks and chicken are all good, all the chicken are now laying. We get around 6-7 eggs every day! Scotty grew a full beard and wanted to show everyone.  It's almost Thanksgiving! Dose anyone have any plans?  Thanks for reading!

Ice ❄

The ice on the pool was about 1 ½ inches thick. (Of course I tried to stand on it 😏, it did break after a few seconds though) I don't know if you can see it, but it's really  thick.  And the shore of the pond was frozen too!  This is the sunset from the back deck around dinner time.  And here's a bonus picture of the ducks sleeping after they went swimming in the afternoon!
