The aftermath of the storm

The storm wasn't as bad as the weather Channel said, but there was still quite a bit of rain and wind. No tornadoes or thunder. A lot of branches and pinecones fell and some of the pathways were flooded. But no serious damage!
Now we have a lot to clean up after the next storm on Friday 😄

Today we get pigs

After lunch today, we're driving a few hours to pick up the pigs. We're getting two Berkshire crosses today and one Kune-Kune on Sunday from a different place.  Dad has built the training pen behind the stove, you can see on the right there's the water and the far left is their house.  And, of course, Scotty named the two pigs,  Bop and Bonk 😂 Can anyone guess what those names are from?

Mushrooms 🍄

All throughout our woods. Mushrooms grow everywhere! One they there is nothing on the trail and the next day giant ones are popping up! As dad has been building the pathways he has taken a whole bunch of pictures of them!  This one is called chicken in the woods. It is edible. We harvested some and dried it.  This little yellow one was so small!  This one looks like a shower head, but we don't know the name yet.  Thanks for the pictures dad!
