Random projects!

I don't have any pictures to post right now, so I'll just tell you about some random projects we are doing! 
Me and Scotty are thinking of names to name our chickens. He's thinking about some like "Chickn Licken Jr", " Drumstick" and " Wobbles". I really don't know what to name mine, but I'm thinking! 
Our house is beautiful but it needs a bit of updating. We are replacing the toilets, sink spigot and spouts, painting the cabinets and replacing the handles, fixing lights and a ton more. It's all really fun work!
I personally are getting used to windows with no screens. A lot of the bugs that fly inside don't bug me at all, I just shoo them into my brother's room 🤣 But it really isn't pleasant when your brother shoos the hugest moth in the world into your room and it starts to fly in your face as your trying to go to bed. But we got that situated and the moths went back outside. 
Dad has been working hard in his barn and he is almost done organizing everything. Mom has been working hard unpacking boxes, cleaning the house and beginning to start the garden. Scotty has been busy playing Legos and I have been cleaning and unpacking! 
Me and my brother have been exploring our backyard and finding all sorts of cool spots. We'll I have to go and do school now!

A tour around our house!

Here is a tour of our house! We will start with the outside. This is the front porch/sitting area. And this is our dining area in the kitchen. Cant forget this dramatic picture of the chandelier!  And here is the view off our back deck! The play structure has Scotty's shelter on it.  Now an update on the pets! Lucy is doing great! She has been going on walks every morning and night without getting scared. She even goes out onto the dock with us sometimes. And occasionally she will chase squirrels around the yard! She is getting more comfortable with the ducks, but doesn't like to sniff them because one bit her nose! But other than that, she loves it out here.  Tea and Crumpets are also doing good. Just being guinea pigs. We have let them play outside in a cage and they loved it! They also get to play around my room sometimes too.  Finally we have Pickles and Sapphire. They too, are doing good. They are still crazy loud and messy. But they are happy.  The ducklin...

Today we get pigs

After lunch today, we're driving a few hours to pick up the pigs. We're getting two Berkshire crosses today and one Kune-Kune on Sunday from a different place.  Dad has built the training pen behind the stove, you can see on the right there's the water and the far left is their house.  And, of course, Scotty named the two pigs,  Bop and Bonk 😂 Can anyone guess what those names are from?

Chicken eggs

For some reason the colder weather seems to be making the chickens lay more eggs, we're getting about eight.  And today I actually managed to catch a guinea hen 😂 Everything is changing with the colder weather expected the pond since it overflowed with the past storm.  Thats all for today, thanks for reading!
