Man in the kitchen- Summertime surprise

Hi guys, Man in the kitchen here. Today I am going to show you how to make the best summertime drink, and its only five ingredients, plus its healthy. Start by getting together all of your ingredients. You need...
  • Frozen watermelon- we filled about 1/2 of the blender with it.
  • Honey- To your liking
  • One whole lime
  • Tajin- We love this stuff!
  • Water
Rub the rim of your cup with lime juice. Take a plate and pour your spice on it. Rub the cup rim in the spice till its nice and coated. Add a fancy straw if you'd like and you can slice off a bit of lime to add to the rim of your cup when its done.

Put all your ingredients into a blender and juice the remaining lime into it and blend on high till its all incorporated.
We chose to leave the seeds in, but you can de-seed your watermelon before grinding it.
And when that's all blended together, pour it into your cup. Don't do what I did. Whoops.
Nevermind, just clean that up.
Aaaaah. Now I can enjoy this drink.
It turned out amazing. I hope you give it a try.

Today we get pigs

After lunch today, we're driving a few hours to pick up the pigs. We're getting two Berkshire crosses today and one Kune-Kune on Sunday from a different place.  Dad has built the training pen behind the stove, you can see on the right there's the water and the far left is their house.  And, of course, Scotty named the two pigs,  Bop and Bonk 😂 Can anyone guess what those names are from?

Chicken eggs

For some reason the colder weather seems to be making the chickens lay more eggs, we're getting about eight.  And today I actually managed to catch a guinea hen 😂 Everything is changing with the colder weather expected the pond since it overflowed with the past storm.  Thats all for today, thanks for reading!

Ice ❄

The ice on the pool was about 1 ½ inches thick. (Of course I tried to stand on it 😏, it did break after a few seconds though) I don't know if you can see it, but it's really  thick.  And the shore of the pond was frozen too!  This is the sunset from the back deck around dinner time.  And here's a bonus picture of the ducks sleeping after they went swimming in the afternoon!
