Cleaning a car for transport

It's almost time for our trip! We are packing our bags and cleaning out our car to ship it cross country. When opened up the car and began to take all of the extra accessories like bobble heads, anything hanging from your rear view mirror, etc and put then in a box.
The car looked pretty disgusting at first. We haven't cleaned it out since our last beach trip, it had sand and shells in every nook and cranny possible! The dog who is photobombing the picture, leaves muddy prints on every seat😁Since my brother usually rides in the backseat, he made a mess of crumbs and Legos. As you can see, the car needed a cleaning anyway.😀 After we removed all the accessories, we took out the floor mats and cleaned them. Vacuumed the carpet and cupholders. Wiped down the seats and surfaces. Took out all the unnecessary things in the back and in the end the car looked " Snazzy" as my brother says.
We didn't have the crevice attachment for the vacuum, so it we wiped out all the hard to reach places with a rag. We also had no cleaning supplies on hand so we used Swiffer pads to clean the seats and surfaces. It was a make do with what you got situation and I think we did a pretty good job! 🚗 ✨

Random projects!

I don't have any pictures to post right now, so I'll just tell you about some random projects we are doing!  Me and Scotty are thinking of names to name our chickens. He's thinking about some like "Chickn Licken Jr", " Drumstick" and " Wobbles". I really don't know what to name mine, but I'm thinking!  Our house is beautiful but it needs a bit of updating. We are replacing the toilets, sink spigot and spouts, painting the cabinets and replacing the handles, fixing lights and a ton more. It's all really fun work! I personally are getting used to windows with no screens. A lot of the bugs that fly inside don't bug me at all, I just shoo them into my brother's room 🤣 But it really isn't pleasant when your brother shoos the hugest moth in the world into your room and it starts to fly in your face as your trying to go to bed. But we got that situated and the moths went back outside.  Dad has been working hard in his barn and...

Around the farm

Not to much has happened this month, we have mainly just been getting ready for the winter ahead.  There was a pig running around our backyard a few days ago. We don't know how it got there or who's it was, it was just running around. We tried to get it into the pig pens, but it ran away. It was so cute and tiny! The ducks and chicken are all good, all the chicken are now laying. We get around 6-7 eggs every day! Scotty grew a full beard and wanted to show everyone.  It's almost Thanksgiving! Dose anyone have any plans?  Thanks for reading!

We got ducks!

This morning, we got a phone call from the post office telling us that our ducks were there and ready to be picked up! We had purchased a special breed of ducks, crested pekins, and the only way to get them was to order them from out of state! It only took 2 days to get here and they came safe and sound!  They were freezing cold when we got them, so we immediately put them in there temporary house. Now they are warm, happy and being adorable!💗 Name the third duck challenge. Alright everyone! We are having a competition! We have two ducks already named, Mrs. Wimpy Dimple and Flippy Floppy. But we need one more name for the third duck! Write your answer in the comments and the winner will be chosen on May 27th! Thanks for reading and I can't wait to see everyone's names!
