Cleaning a car for transport

It's almost time for our trip! We are packing our bags and cleaning out our car to ship it cross country. When opened up the car and began to take all of the extra accessories like bobble heads, anything hanging from your rear view mirror, etc and put then in a box.
The car looked pretty disgusting at first. We haven't cleaned it out since our last beach trip, it had sand and shells in every nook and cranny possible! The dog who is photobombing the picture, leaves muddy prints on every seat😁Since my brother usually rides in the backseat, he made a mess of crumbs and Legos. As you can see, the car needed a cleaning anyway.πŸ˜€ After we removed all the accessories, we took out the floor mats and cleaned them. Vacuumed the carpet and cupholders. Wiped down the seats and surfaces. Took out all the unnecessary things in the back and in the end the car looked " Snazzy" as my brother says.
We didn't have the crevice attachment for the vacuum, so it we wiped out all the hard to reach places with a rag. We also had no cleaning supplies on hand so we used Swiffer pads to clean the seats and surfaces. It was a make do with what you got situation and I think we did a pretty good job! πŸš— ✨

Today we get pigs

After lunch today, we're driving a few hours to pick up the pigs. We're getting two Berkshire crosses today and one Kune-Kune on Sunday from a different place.  Dad has built the training pen behind the stove, you can see on the right there's the water and the far left is their house.  And, of course, Scotty named the two pigs,  Bop and Bonk πŸ˜‚ Can anyone guess what those names are from?

Chicken eggs

For some reason the colder weather seems to be making the chickens lay more eggs, we're getting about eight.  And today I actually managed to catch a guinea hen πŸ˜‚ Everything is changing with the colder weather expected the pond since it overflowed with the past storm.  Thats all for today, thanks for reading!

Easter

On Easter we had a few of our friends over for dinner and an egg hunt. Since our yards are so big the parents hid 100 eggs for the kids and us kids hid about 50 for the parents beer hunt. We had a few golden eggs with prize baskets and a super big egg with a mystery surprise (5 cans of silly string).  And of course we hid them as hard as we could with the only rule of no burying them. Though im sure theres some more still out there, we keep finding them.πŸ˜… Happy Easter!
