The chicken hatched

Yesterday afternoon, Scotty called out "It's hatching!" And instantly mom ran up and the two of them kept watching it break out of the shell. (It took about 11 hours and I didn't stick around)😄

But around 9pm it broke free and crawled out. 

The next morning he moved it from the incubator to the bin he had prepared. 

And he named it Anju.
