Halloween Spiderweb Cupcakes 🕸🕷

 

A huge thank you to our grandparents who sent us all the ingredients! 

This cupcake recipe is so much fun and simple to make! Its perfect for a Halloween party!

 All you need is....

• One box of chocolate cake mix and everything it says on the box to make the batter
• Marshmallows
• Candy eyes
• Cupcake wrappers
• Chocolate frosting 

Start by making your cake batter and lining the cupcake pan with wrappers. *Tip! Use plain wrappers for the base since the batter will stain them. When they are done cooking then you put on your other wrappers.*

 

Fill up your cupcake wrappers roughly halfway and bake according to the box (we did 350 degrees for 21 minutes)

When they are done and the toothpick comes out clean, let them cool for an hour.

Then you can frost them!

Now here's the fun part, marshmallow spiderwebs! Microwave your marshmallows in 5 second increments until they are gooey (Dont over cook!!)  

Dip your fingers in water, then using your fingers spread the marshmallow paste all over the cupcake so it looks like spiderwebs. 

Add some candy eyes and other decorations and you are done! Its that easy!
