Halloween Spiderweb Cupcakes πŸ•ΈπŸ•·

A huge thank you to our grandparents who sent us all the ingredients!
This cupcake recipe is so much fun and simple to make! Its perfect for a Halloween party!
 All you need is....
  • One box of chocolate cake mix and everything it says on the box to make the batter
  • Marshmallows
  • Candy eyes
  • Cupcake wrappers
  • Chocolate frosting

Start by making your cake batter and lining the cupcake pan with wrappers. *Tip! Use plain wrappers for the base since the batter will stain them. When they are done cooking then you put on your other wrappers.*

Fill up your cupcake wrappers roughly halfway and bake according to the box (we did 350 degrees for 21 minutes)

When they are done and the toothpick comes out clean, let them cool for an hour.
Then you can frost them!
Now here's the fun part, marshmallow spiderwebs! Microwave your marshmallows in 5 second increments until they are gooey (Dont over cook!!)
Dip your fingers in water, then using your fingers spread the marshmallow paste all over the cupcake so it looks like spiderwebs.

Add some candy eyes and other decorations and you are done! Its that easy!
Hope you enjoy!

Easter

On Easter we had a few of our friends over for dinner and an egg hunt. Since our yards are so big the parents hid 100 eggs for the kids and us kids hid about 50 for the parents beer hunt. We had a few golden eggs with prize baskets and a super big egg with a mystery surprise (5 cans of silly string).  And of course we hid them as hard as we could with the only rule of no burying them. Though im sure theres some more still out there, we keep finding them.πŸ˜… Happy Easter!

Around the farm

Not to much has happened this month, we have mainly just been getting ready for the winter ahead.  There was a pig running around our backyard a few days ago. We don't know how it got there or who's it was, it was just running around. We tried to get it into the pig pens, but it ran away. It was so cute and tiny! The ducks and chicken are all good, all the chicken are now laying. We get around 6-7 eggs every day! Scotty grew a full beard and wanted to show everyone.  It's almost Thanksgiving! Dose anyone have any plans?  Thanks for reading!
