All about Lucy💗

Even though Lucy placed second, I still think she gets a post all to herself! 
Lately she hasn't been doing to much, she loves to chase skinks and squirrels and the occasional deer, but she hasn't caught anything yet. 😀
She also has been getting scared a lot, due to gunshots or loud noises. So she hides in the closet or downstairs bathroom. Poor dog!
She can't go upstairs unless we carry her, since they are so slippery that she slides all the way to the bottom landing. But she is perfectly happy downstairs. 
And of course, when we go fishing she follows us and when we do catch one, she is so curious about it and tries to sniff it then gets scared because it flops around 😄 Mom took this picture!

Lucy has been loving it here, inside and out! But mainly inside because that's where her couch is. 🤣

Today we get pigs

After lunch today, we're driving a few hours to pick up the pigs. We're getting two Berkshire crosses today and one Kune-Kune on Sunday from a different place.  Dad has built the training pen behind the stove, you can see on the right there's the water and the far left is their house.  And, of course, Scotty named the two pigs,  Bop and Bonk 😂 Can anyone guess what those names are from?

Chicken eggs

For some reason the colder weather seems to be making the chickens lay more eggs, we're getting about eight.  And today I actually managed to catch a guinea hen 😂 Everything is changing with the colder weather expected the pond since it overflowed with the past storm.  Thats all for today, thanks for reading!

We got ducks!

This morning, we got a phone call from the post office telling us that our ducks were there and ready to be picked up! We had purchased a special breed of ducks, crested pekins, and the only way to get them was to order them from out of state! It only took 2 days to get here and they came safe and sound!  They were freezing cold when we got them, so we immediately put them in there temporary house. Now they are warm, happy and being adorable!💗 Name the third duck challenge. Alright everyone! We are having a competition! We have two ducks already named, Mrs. Wimpy Dimple and Flippy Floppy.
