Working on the property!

We have been working hard lately! Our first main project is working on the pig pens. Dad has laid out the strings to figure out the size of all twelve paddocks and cleaning the dead trees and other hazardous objects like metal pieces from the cars on the property. It is going pretty good!

The ducks are very happy as usual! They spend all day under our deck enjoying the shade. 😄

Lucy got a haircut because of the heat and is looking adorable!

Today we get pigs

After lunch today, we're driving a few hours to pick up the pigs. We're getting two Berkshire crosses today and one Kune-Kune on Sunday from a different place. Dad has built the training pen behind the stove, you can see on the right there's the water and the far left is their house. And, of course, Scotty named the two pigs, Bop and Bonk 😂 Can anyone guess what those names are from?

Around the farm

Not to much has happened this month, we have mainly just been getting ready for the winter ahead. There was a pig running around our backyard a few days ago. We don't know how it got there or who's it was, it was just running around. We tried to get it into the pig pens, but it ran away. It was so cute and tiny! The ducks and chicken are all good, all the chicken are now laying. We get around 6-7 eggs every day! Scotty grew a full beard and wanted to show everyone. It's almost Thanksgiving! Dose anyone have any plans? Thanks for reading!

2024 is just around the corner!

A new year is just around the corner! Have you made any resolutions? I have a few so far including.... ● Get my novel published ● Learn to drive Yep! I'm hoping to get my first novel published this year! 📖 Keep your eyes out for updates! Mom and Dad have a few too... ● Get pigs (Dad) ● Work on art for 30 minutes everyday (Mom) And Scottys! ● Take more showers ● Eat more pickles (thanks Grandma and Grandpa!) ● Cut back on sugar ● Enjoy my last few years of freedom before I get a job 😂 Thats all we have for now! How late are you planning to stay up? I bet we can beat you! Happy (almost) new year! 🙋🏼‍♀️
