Schoolroom, shelves and Scottys escape route.

Mom's bookshelves are almost done! She is now filling the completed ones up with books, pictures and trinkets. Don't they look great?!
The biggest work in progress is the school room closet, I'm sure we will get around to it😁
And Scotty is very proud to show you his sneaky escape route, from the schoolroom to outside🤣 "I can sneak out without anyone noticing- he says "I love having no screens on the windows!"

Thanks for reading! What would you guys like to read about? Do you want to read about more rooms of the house? Packing tips? The property? Just let me know!

Today we get pigs

After lunch today, we're driving a few hours to pick up the pigs. We're getting two Berkshire crosses today and one Kune-Kune on Sunday from a different place.  Dad has built the training pen behind the stove, you can see on the right there's the water and the far left is their house.  And, of course, Scotty named the two pigs,  Bop and Bonk 😂 Can anyone guess what those names are from?

Around the farm

Not to much has happened this month, we have mainly just been getting ready for the winter ahead.  There was a pig running around our backyard a few days ago. We don't know how it got there or who's it was, it was just running around. We tried to get it into the pig pens, but it ran away. It was so cute and tiny! The ducks and chicken are all good, all the chicken are now laying. We get around 6-7 eggs every day! Scotty grew a full beard and wanted to show everyone.  It's almost Thanksgiving! Dose anyone have any plans?  Thanks for reading!

Ice ❄

The ice on the pool was about 1 ½ inches thick. (Of course I tried to stand on it 😏, it did break after a few seconds though) I don't know if you can see it, but it's really  thick.  And the shore of the pond was frozen too!  This is the sunset from the back deck around dinner time.  And here's a bonus picture of the ducks sleeping after they went swimming in the afternoon!
