Day #3!

Today we went through 3 states! Texas, Oklahoma and stopped in Arkansas! Only driving about 10 hours!
There were hundreds of windmills around the states, it is impressive to see how big they are! We saw a few trucks carrying the blades and they hung off at least 20-30 ft off the back!
We went through only the top of Texas, which didn't take that long. Oklahoma was very flat and had hardly any trees, but we went through the whole part and that took us pretty much the whole trip. We stopped at a gas station in Oklahoma and they had a self serving hot dog stand, I don't know why I found it so cool. Maybe because there's nothing like that in CA
Arkansas is so beautiful and green. There are so many trees and if you look at a mountain, there will be many shades of green and sometimes a bit of yellow, which was pretty cool. It was very cloudy and cool. But no rain yet.
Tomorrow is going to be my brother's most favorite day of the trip! Stay tuned to find out why!

Random projects!

I don't have any pictures to post right now, so I'll just tell you about some random projects we are doing!  Me and Scotty are thinking of names to name our chickens. He's thinking about some like "Chickn Licken Jr", " Drumstick" and " Wobbles". I really don't know what to name mine, but I'm thinking!  Our house is beautiful but it needs a bit of updating. We are replacing the toilets, sink spigot and spouts, painting the cabinets and replacing the handles, fixing lights and a ton more. It's all really fun work! I personally are getting used to windows with no screens. A lot of the bugs that fly inside don't bug me at all, I just shoo them into my brother's room 🤣 But it really isn't pleasant when your brother shoos the hugest moth in the world into your room and it starts to fly in your face as your trying to go to bed. But we got that situated and the moths went back outside.  Dad has been working hard in his barn and...

Around the farm

Not to much has happened this month, we have mainly just been getting ready for the winter ahead.  There was a pig running around our backyard a few days ago. We don't know how it got there or who's it was, it was just running around. We tried to get it into the pig pens, but it ran away. It was so cute and tiny! The ducks and chicken are all good, all the chicken are now laying. We get around 6-7 eggs every day! Scotty grew a full beard and wanted to show everyone.  It's almost Thanksgiving! Dose anyone have any plans?  Thanks for reading!

Easter

On Easter we had a few of our friends over for dinner and an egg hunt. Since our yards are so big the parents hid 100 eggs for the kids and us kids hid about 50 for the parents beer hunt. We had a few golden eggs with prize baskets and a super big egg with a mystery surprise (5 cans of silly string).  And of course we hid them as hard as we could with the only rule of no burying them. Though im sure theres some more still out there, we keep finding them.😅 Happy Easter!
