Road Trip Food Part 1

Every trip we pack food for the road so we don't have to eat out to many times. Below I have picked out all of the food/snacks we have so far!
● Good Crisps- I love these chips! They are just like "Pringles" but much more healthy.
● Sunflower seeds or other seeds and nuts- for protein and a great snack!
● Rice cakes or crisps- Yet another great snack.
● Bone broth- We are going to add it to soups or meat to make a heartier stew.
● Dried apple rings- I only get dried fruit with one ingredient.
● Sundried tomato pesto- To make sandwiches more exciting.
● Caned tuna- This is always one item I must have! It's super simple to make and keeps you full for a while.
● Canned soup- A simple meal.
● A can of olives- A snack most everyone will like!
● Coconut oil- For cooking.
And finally, the best breakfast idea that we have ever came up with that you can make in a hotel room, trailer or an Air B&B, is waffles! Bring a box of pancake mix and a miniature waffle iron and bingo! You have the best breakfast that tastes homemade. Hope these ideas will help you on your next trip and stay tuned for part 2!

Easter

On Easter we had a few of our friends over for dinner and an egg hunt. Since our yards are so big the parents hid 100 eggs for the kids and us kids hid about 50 for the parents beer hunt. We had a few golden eggs with prize baskets and a super big egg with a mystery surprise (5 cans of silly string).  And of course we hid them as hard as we could with the only rule of no burying them. Though im sure theres some more still out there, we keep finding them.😅 Happy Easter!

Around the farm

Not to much has happened this month, we have mainly just been getting ready for the winter ahead.  There was a pig running around our backyard a few days ago. We don't know how it got there or who's it was, it was just running around. We tried to get it into the pig pens, but it ran away. It was so cute and tiny! The ducks and chicken are all good, all the chicken are now laying. We get around 6-7 eggs every day! Scotty grew a full beard and wanted to show everyone.  It's almost Thanksgiving! Dose anyone have any plans?  Thanks for reading!
