Great board games!

When you get to your stop, maybe at a hotel room or a air bnb, you might want to have something to entertain you and your family! I personally think board games are one of the most fun boredom busters! I went through our game box and picked out the funnest ones!
● The Oregon trail card game- This game is so much fun! You and your family and/or friends are trying to make your way to Oregon. You start in Independence MO and if you can, finish in Willamette Valley OR. There are three types of cards, Trail cards that you deal out a portion to each player so they can create the trail you are on. Supply cards, each player gets a few and depends on how many players, that is how much supplies you can take. The last card is the calamity card, this card will tell you the calamity you are in (Snake bites, thieves, starvation, sicknesses and much more.) When you first start you all write your names on the card and through the game, people will die and you can create their headstone. It's educational and fun!
● Diffrence- It is kind of like eye spy but in card form, the best thing is you can play it over and over without memorizing the cards! Fun game for everybody!
● BananaGrams- My #1 favorite game! It expands your vocabulary, it's crazy fun and easy to learn!
● Pass the pigs- This game is not very popular, but it it is fun and the little pig figures it comes with are so adorable! The object of the game is to toss the pigs and whatever position they land it detrmins how many points you get. First person to 100 points wins!
● Yahtzee!- The best dice game to play! You have to roll the dice and fit your roll into the categories on the sheet. If you roll 5 of the same numbers it's a Yahtzee!
● Cards and poker chips- Cards and chips can create unlimited games!
What board games do you like to bring?

Easter

On Easter we had a few of our friends over for dinner and an egg hunt. Since our yards are so big the parents hid 100 eggs for the kids and us kids hid about 50 for the parents beer hunt. We had a few golden eggs with prize baskets and a super big egg with a mystery surprise (5 cans of silly string).  And of course we hid them as hard as we could with the only rule of no burying them. Though im sure theres some more still out there, we keep finding them.😅 Happy Easter!

Around the farm

Not to much has happened this month, we have mainly just been getting ready for the winter ahead.  There was a pig running around our backyard a few days ago. We don't know how it got there or who's it was, it was just running around. We tried to get it into the pig pens, but it ran away. It was so cute and tiny! The ducks and chicken are all good, all the chicken are now laying. We get around 6-7 eggs every day! Scotty grew a full beard and wanted to show everyone.  It's almost Thanksgiving! Dose anyone have any plans?  Thanks for reading!
