House update #2!

Every day there is a new improvement in the house and the yard, so today I'll post the newest updates.
Scotty had been working on his sitting area in his room. We went to a used furniture store and he found some super cheap office chair that he liked and bought them. We got him a miniature coffee table which he assembled all by himself. Then he decorated his area and I think it's basically done!
The rest of his room is comming along nicely, except one room... guess which one 🤣
If you guessed Legos, good job!

This morning when I woke up, Dad was busy building shelves. He took the shelves that were lining the living room walls, measured them, cut them and put them on the wall. And there looking pretty amazing so far!
And mom has bought some adorable handles for all of the kitchen cabinets, since it's so much cheaper to replace the handles instead of painting all the cabinets. Don't they look great?
And those are the most recent updates!

Today we get pigs

After lunch today, we're driving a few hours to pick up the pigs. We're getting two Berkshire crosses today and one Kune-Kune on Sunday from a different place.  Dad has built the training pen behind the stove, you can see on the right there's the water and the far left is their house.  And, of course, Scotty named the two pigs,  Bop and Bonk 😂 Can anyone guess what those names are from?

Around the farm

Not to much has happened this month, we have mainly just been getting ready for the winter ahead.  There was a pig running around our backyard a few days ago. We don't know how it got there or who's it was, it was just running around. We tried to get it into the pig pens, but it ran away. It was so cute and tiny! The ducks and chicken are all good, all the chicken are now laying. We get around 6-7 eggs every day! Scotty grew a full beard and wanted to show everyone.  It's almost Thanksgiving! Dose anyone have any plans?  Thanks for reading!

Easter

On Easter we had a few of our friends over for dinner and an egg hunt. Since our yards are so big the parents hid 100 eggs for the kids and us kids hid about 50 for the parents beer hunt. We had a few golden eggs with prize baskets and a super big egg with a mystery surprise (5 cans of silly string).  And of course we hid them as hard as we could with the only rule of no burying them. Though im sure theres some more still out there, we keep finding them.😅 Happy Easter!
