House update #1!

The house is almost all the way unpacked! Now we are cleaning, buying more furniture, decorating the walls and organizing!
Yesterday Dad built a bookcase and a dresser for me! Now my closet and library are almost done, except I am going to buy some peel and stick wall paper.

Next the kitchen and the game room. In the kitchen Mom had set up the dining room and organized all the cabinets! In the game room she set up a concession stand (not pictured because she's not done yet) and our huge movie collection!

The dog is soooo happy to have her couch back, meaning she sleeps on it all day. I mean all day.
And lastly the BBQ area on our back deck!
And that's the first part of our house! What's your favorite room so far? Which room do you want to see more of? Thanks for reading!

Today we get pigs

After lunch today, we're driving a few hours to pick up the pigs. We're getting two Berkshire crosses today and one Kune-Kune on Sunday from a different place.  Dad has built the training pen behind the stove, you can see on the right there's the water and the far left is their house.  And, of course, Scotty named the two pigs,  Bop and Bonk 😂 Can anyone guess what those names are from?

Chicken eggs

For some reason the colder weather seems to be making the chickens lay more eggs, we're getting about eight.  And today I actually managed to catch a guinea hen 😂 Everything is changing with the colder weather expected the pond since it overflowed with the past storm.  Thats all for today, thanks for reading!

Ice ❄

The ice on the pool was about 1 ½ inches thick. (Of course I tried to stand on it 😏, it did break after a few seconds though) I don't know if you can see it, but it's really  thick.  And the shore of the pond was frozen too!  This is the sunset from the back deck around dinner time.  And here's a bonus picture of the ducks sleeping after they went swimming in the afternoon!
